In an ideal world I wouldn’t be knifing the fuck out of a freezer at 1 in the morning but hey, no one else is gonna do it and I needed to get to my bread to make some toast.

Bed time now, Ems coming over to help redye my hair tomorrow. Which is rad because fading hair makes me look like a mega crack head and that isn’t great for the confidence.

Don’t know why I am telling you this super important information tumblr, but I’ve typed it out now so yeah, there you go.

This ‘zombie’ thing or whatever, the more I hear of it the more it seems a bit like a moral panic. Like it seems like the media want the public to shit themselves and freak out.

The world is a big place, there’s a lot of people. When you think about this logically stuff like this must’ve happened before, perhaps not so often in the US granted, but there have been cannibals before, people have acted crazy and animalistic before. If you linked some of those things together it could probably seem like a potential zombie outbreak too. So its like why are these things in particular being reported?

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me being shitscared trying to rationalize things but I don’t feel scared y’unno? Well obviously I’m panicking because its a pretty bizare thing to hear but I don’t feel like ‘the end if nigh’ or whatever and as someone who thinks about the apocalypse quite a lot I feel like maybe I would get some kind of instinctive feeling? Haha I dunno, that sounds ridiculous.

Its kinda funny though actually because just the other day I was writing in the sun about how awesome it’d be to live in a post apocalyptic world and without humans. Be careful what you wish for I guess. Although I did specify that I didn’t want humans to be wiped out due to zombies.
